I am a Yorkshire lass born in Leeds England, daughter to a coal miner and a tote operator emigrating to Australia when I was a small child. My life has always revolved around my love for animals and with a natural creative flair in me my journey in pet photography began.

I have always had dogs, don't ask which was my favourite, all equally beautiful, loyal special in their own unique way. The last two dogs I had where Lilly & Ruby, my adorable Bichon babies. They both passed away within a year of each other at fourteen and fifteen years and I am glad I have images of them to keep and cherish their memories forever.

Horses have played a huge part of my life. Being a small skinny kid and my families keen interest in horse racing I decided at 16 I was going to be a jockey. Everybody laughed, girls can't be jockeys ! So I set about proving them wrong and became one of the first female jockeys in Australia. Opportunities were limited and after a short career for 24 rides for 4 winners and nine place getters I decided that my life was definitely going to be involved in animals and their care, just not racing them.

I have continued to work with horses and dogs all my life all over the world. Singapore, Dubai and England. I think being so heavily involved in their lives and care has given me the ability to recognise and capture their own individual personalities in the best way to provide people with beautiful memories they can cherish of their pets for ever.

And now life has brought me to live in one of the most beautiful destinations in Australia , Kiama. 

​

I have been photographing dogs now for seven years and am making the best of outstanding locations on offer here in Kiama. My love and affinity with all creatures great and small helps me connect with them and in return this leads to beautiful images. I get a lot of joy out of my photography and would love to create gorgeous memories for you.
